Being Mouse is a webcomic I started making after finding out I'm autistic.

It is a way for me to come to terms with, and process, past events through the lens of always having been autistic — but just not knowing it.

Since I was given the nickname "Mouse" I depict myself as a humanoid mouse, and everyone in my life as various humanoid animals, throughout the comic. It is a way for me to use humor to soften things and put some distance between me and the events so I can actually look at them and be able to laugh at it.

All of the events in this comic are true recollections from my life (though some of it is exaggerated). Some of it is funny. Some of it isn't.

I hope that if you're reading this and you relate to any of it, it helps you feel a little less alone.
